Perfect attire on a budget!

OMG Chicas, Can you believe the holiday season is here? Literally!! With this awesome, fun & loving time of the year also comes the stress and headache of finding what to wear to all these holiday events and parties. The affordable way to shop in style is to always keep in mind that there will always be a cheaper version of your favorite label(s) since that Valentino gown that you've been dreaming of for months has a price tag of $3,000 (making it nearly impossible for you to afford it). Well there's great news, there is no need to spend our life savings to look stunning. There is absolutely nothing wrong with being a super saving diva! You can opt to go to discount stores or outlets rather than the mall and save big bucks by doing so. If there is one rule of thumb that I always go by is that of " look chic, shop cheap'' and I mean that in the most stylish and budget friendly way possible.
Here you have a few options and ideas when it comes to saving big bucks and still looking trendy and chic especially for the upcoming festivities (all under $60) If you have a pair of black or nude pumps, a clutch and necklace in your closet then you're pretty much ready to party while having extra cash left in your wallet for all your other necessities.

There is a wide variety of really cute and cool shoes  at affordable prices that will go perfect with your outfit of choice. Another alternative when shopping or looking for shoes on a budget is to definitely go to your nearest cobbler, they will not only make sure that your favorite pair of pumps that have been hiding in your closet for so long get back to you looking brand new, but you will indeed save a lot more than buying new shoes each time you have an event or party.

Of course, there is no way that we can possibly finalize our look without the perfect accessories. As mentioned above, you can definitely choose items from your previous purchases instead of buying new ones. A great way to save on accessories and jewelry is to go to your local pawn shop or thrift stores. Venture out of your comfort zone, there are amazing deals out there you just have to be willing to look for them.

Nude Obsession!

Coat:Zara Skirt:F21 Top: I made my own crop top from an old sweater, Similar:Here Bag: (Old) Similar:Here Shoes: Steve Madden Daart (Sold Out) Similar:Here

Is anyone becoming somewhat bored or tired of my nudes? I think i might have bad news if that's the case! I just cant seem to be able to get rid of my obsession for nude/pastel colors. I mean, can you blame me? this color is super delicate and goes great with just about anything.

Some people might actually dislike the way this particular shade looks on me because of the way that I kind of "blend" with it, but it will be a while before i decide to let go of this awesome tone.

There are indeed various ways that you can take advantage of this trend when looking to incorporate these colors into your outfit: (Nude, Taupe, Grey) You don't necessarily have to dress in all monochromatic tones, I just like to do it because for me dressing in all one hue is extremely simple and looks super chic.

There is absolutely no problem with doing a mix and match, whether it be the accessories, shoes or even the coat to kind of give it that over the top look.

How to wear white in winter.

Long gone are the years when we were told not to wear white after Labor Day! And lets face it chicas, how many of us were dying to do it but were insanely terrified of being judge? Well, guess what? I'm here to tell you that it is indeed OK to wear white all year long yes you read that right, let's just call it winter white with a nice pop of color.
When wearing a monochromatic outfit (all white) any hue, such as yellow, red or blue will really "liven up" your look. However, if the palette of your outfit is a mix of neutrals, adding a bright color will pair easily. So the choice is yours!
Incorporating a subtle pop of color to your "all white" outfit can definitely transform your look. White clothing provides the perfect background for a striking piece of jewelry, nail polishlipstick or any accessory that you want to add that'll create that impact.  Chicas, please don't be afraid to play around with colors and lets forget about that old myth and start wearing that sexy white dress or pants that has been sitting in your closet waiting to be worn. IMG_0032A pop of color does not have to be limited to any particular piece of clothing or accessory, you can choose anything from the shoes to the coat or even the handbag. Just try not to over accessorize. Remember, you want to achieve a nice and clean white look.

It may be somewhat of a struggle for many to even consider the possibility of wearing white during the winter months, and many might even think that white will make them look more on the thicker side. Well chicas, there is absolutely nothing a pair of spanx cant solve! trust me, it'll work wonders.

One last tip to always keep in mind when wearing all white and adding a pop of color is to never add more than one bright color, this will cause the outfit to look overloaded and we certainly don't want that.  You can opt to add a coat as your pop of color, This Zara double breasted coat is not only trendy but will keep you  super warm. It's perfectly fine to wear printed shoes like these gorgeous snake printed pumps from flyjane. Don't forget to always stay warm in style of course, a nice cozy sweater and scarf will definitely do the trick! both from ASOS.

The chic way to a casual look.

The easiest and of course coziest way to achieve a chic winter look is indeed an eye catching coat with your favorite accessories: the perfect scarf, bag and boots. Always keep in mind that sometimes less is more! Same applies when layering your favorite pieces to create that chic look. If you’re thinking demure and elegant yet totally versatile, there is absolutely nothing a pair of pants and top with an eye catching statement coat wouldn't be able to achieve.
Your options when looking for the right outfit on these chilly days are endless. Think fun, creative while staying warm and comfortable. This look is not only super cute and totally trendy, but it’s the best way to go from a day out shopping to a dinner date in no time.
So there you have it chicas, no more excuses to not look stunningly hot during the cold and snowy days coming ahead!!
IMG_0047Another chic way to stay in style this season besides adding the key pieces to your outfit, will indeed be the shoes! yes I understand that winter usually calls for over the knee and tall boots, but you can definitely bring out your fave pumps and rock em'

If you're obsessed with sunglasses and clutches like i am, then here is your chance to bring it all out and incorporate these cool necessary pieces to your already fabulous look!

Last but not least, the one piece that will complete your look, like stated previously will be the coat, you do not have to limit yourself to only wearing solid and dark colors, you can definitely opt for colors and prints.  This draped coat from ZARA Similar:Here will have you turning heads, paired with these Steve Madden nude pumps,Similar:Here  Asos scarf and This (Similar) Alia oversized envelope clutch.

It's nearly insane to think that the holidays are literally here. I know how difficult it can get for many of us trying to balance so many things at once and it can become a burden financially. To try and avoid that I would suggest using pieces that you already have in your closets and just mix and match, you'd be surprised at how much money you can end up saving.

I decided to help you ladies out with a few tips and tricks on how to look great while on a budget. Also, I will create a few holiday looks that are easy, cheap and chic! All will be featured on Chicafresh.com if you have not already done so, make sure to check out all the fashion tips and trends that I have written on their site!very girly, cool & fun

recently, I have been playing around with different patterns and prints, just because i think it's pretty cool and I like it. Well, it's really because i get easily bored with just one style and like to spice it up a bit ;). Like I have always said, don't be afraid to step out the box and experiment with different styles, you might just end up loving it.

Mixing Prints!

Jeans: H&M Shoes:SteveMadden Blazer: BEBE (old) Similar:Here Plaid top: Asos (old) Similar:Here Bag: f21 (old) Similar:Here

Throughout the years my taste in clothing has drastically changed, and so has my color palette selection when choosing what to wear. Few years back walking into my closet was a huge contrast of black & white and a few pieces that were just randomly lingering around that just happened to have some color! Now I'm a bit more open minded when it comes to incorporating colors. One color that I've been obsessing over for quite some time now has been burgundy, I feel that it's such a powerful and deep color.

As I've mentioned in previous posts, we have to be a little more open minded when it comes to choosing prints and patterns, as you can see here I decided to go a little bold and mix plaid with leopard print! the thought of it might seem a bit wild, but the outcome is pretty cool and fun. Don't be afraid to add life to your outfits, the worse that can happen is that you're remembered for being that one girl that no one is ever able to forget because of her different sense in style.

Adding a few accessories, whether it be a clutch, necklace or glasses is always a great idea. Remember to always have fun with what you're wearing, it's not only meant to make you look good, but it's also meant to make you feel great.

This was indeed one of the most inspirational events i've attended so far.  It was a 2 day event packed with inspiring speakers, panels, networking, meet and greet with cosmo editors,  it was just amazing to say the least.

I had the pleasure of meeting and getting to know a little more in depth about the editor in chief of U.S Cosmopolitan Joanna Coles. Got to meet and hear so many inspirational stories from amazing woman and man like: Kelly Osbourne, Windsor Hanger, Jillian Michaels, Aliza Licht, Chrissy Teigen, Sophia Amoruso, Jason Silva, Gabrielle Union, Matthew Hussey, Dr Meg Jay, Dr Jennifer Ashton, Alexa VonTobel, Jordan Carlos, Adam Rosante, Alicia Qaurles, Megyn Kelly And so many more.

There was one speaker in Particular that completely changed my whole view on my future plans and goals. Despite all the struggles and negative feedbacks from everyone Sarah Blakely the creator of Spanx decided to take all that negativity and turn it into something good. In 2000, Sarah Blakeley started Spanx with a dream and $5,000. She invented footless body -shaping pantyhose and launched a brand that has been revolutionizing the industry from more than a decade. Sarah has taken spanx from a spunky starup to a global powerhouse creating a celebrity favorite and must-have for fans everywhere.

While remaining the most innovative shapewear brand, Spanx has also put the slim in swim, the “ah” in bra, the workout inside the active pant and the skinny in the jeans. Spanx is inspired to help fans look and feel their best all day, every day.

Sara was selected as one of Time Magazine's 100 most influential people and featured on the cover of Forbes as the world's youngest self-made female billionaire.
It has always been important to Sara to shape more than women’s butts and in 2013, she signed the Giving Pledge to donate half of her wealth to helping others.

I can sit here for hours and write pages long on why Sarah blakely inspired me, but that'll take too long and you guys will get bored. I'll just end by saying to always follow your dreams! i know it may sound cliché or super wack but i cant stress enough how aggressive you have to be to reach your future goals. for me Personally it hasn't been an easy road (not that i ever expected it to be so). After moving to another state at the age of 17  with no family or friends to rely on, my only objective was to survive and make it through that stage in my life! which i did. Now that i have found myself and discovered what it is that i really want in life, there is no stoping me now.
